A small replica chapel recreates the mystical atmosphere of the Orthodox Churches that form the center of immigrant community life. Icons in the Byzantine and Slavic tradition are displayed along with elaborate vestments and liturgical items. The sounds of Orthodox chant in Arabic, Greek, Slavonic and English capture the beauty of services that date to the fourth century.
