The Museum is located two blocks south of the State Capitol in the historic Ross Row Houses.

Directions from I-70 eastbound
(Salina and points west)

Take the 1st Avenue exit, turn left onto 1st Ave. As you approach the overpass, take the exit ramp to the right onto Topeka Boulevard heading south. Turn left at 5th St., go two blocks and turn right on Van Buren.

Directions from I-70 westbound
(Kansas City and points east)

Take the East (Downtown) Topeka exit from the Kansas Turnpike. Downtown, take the 8th St. exit, turning left at the light. Go 4 blocks and turn right onto Van Buren. Continue past the 6th St. and Van Buren intersection to the 500 block.

Directions from I-35 heading north
(Emporia, Wichita and points south)

Take the South Topeka exit and follow the signs to Topeka Boulevard. Continue several miles through town; turn right on 6th Ave. Go two blocks to Van Buren and turn left onto the 500 block.
